THE SLIPPERY WEASEL SOCIETY
AT FLATLANDERS
BLISSFIELD, MICHIGAN
May 29 - September 8, 2012
The
Slippery Weasel Society has landed at Flatlanders Sculpture Supply and Art Galleries in Blissfield, Michigan.
http://www.flatlandersculpture.com/ The gallery show will be up through September 8th, 2012. We'll be doing a Weasel Camp on Saturday, July 14th, 11 am - 3 pm. If you find yourself in the Adrian/Blissfield/Toledo area, take a minute to stop by and see the show and give a little love to Ken Thompson and his Flat people. They're the busiest sculpture installers we've ever seen. Thank you, Ken Thompson, for the use of your hideout during our sojourn among your people.
You may not
know this but the Slippery Weasel Society originated from a band of renegade
Boy Scouts from Lucas County, Ohio. The elusive Slippery Weasel badge,
involving one-handed neckerchief tying, is still one of the most coveted merit
badges a scout can attain.
